If for a hundred years, teach the people." Kuang Chung

Good communication is essential to the success of any organization. An effective communication process must include a two-way flow of information. District information is shared through the Districtwide Student Improvement Council, the District Diversity Committee, the Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee and the Student Advisory Committees. While good news should be shared, to be truly effective, we must do more that listen to the feedback we receive -- we must hear what the public is telling us. Quality Improvement Idea forms are available at every LCISD campus and a Suggestion Box is located in the entry of the Brazos Crossing Administration Building. Your comments and concerns are very important to the LCISD administration.

District Communications

The LCISD Communications Department strives to keep the staff and public informed about the policies, administrative operation, objectives, and educational programs of the district. A staff newsletter, The New View, as well as a district calendar are published and distributed to all staff members on a monthly basis. A community newsletter, F.A.C.T.S., is published quarterly and mailed to all residents in LCISD.

Extra copies are available upon request from the Communications Department at (832)223-0330.

The LCISD Communications office is committed to keeping its citizens informed about education services and programs, achievements policies, and objectives through publications and the news media.
