Title I

Program Description

Title I provides supplemental funding to districts for resources to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families.   The purpose of the funding is to provide a high-quality education that will enable all students to meet the state’s student performance standards.  Title I, Part A supports schools in implementing either a school-wide program or a targeted assistance program.   These programs must use effective methods and instructional strategies that are grounded in scientifically based research.

Parents may obtain more information from the campus or from the Department of State/Federal Programs. 

General Education Homebound  - A general education student who develops a temporary medical condition may be considered for the GEH program.
